How Our Rating System Works (when it works)
General Notes:
This is a list of some of the greatest Science Fiction and Fantasy books and
other assorted stuff as compiled by myself and my roommate for no particular
reason other than that we felt like it. This site has changed many times in
the past (for example, it has been, in no particular order: a Search Engine,
a Fire Engine, a Fire Fly, a Fly Ball, Dead Donkeys, and Helen Shapiro), and
may change again in the future, and of course we welcome any suggestions for
reading material that anyone would like to offer. We can't guarantee that we
will add the suggestions to the list, or even that we will read the books, or
even that we won't sit around and laugh at what a goofball you are, but then
hey, what do you care what we think, when you get right down to it?
We apologize for any misspellingz and books where we have forgotten the author's name (if you can fill us in on this last, please do. We are very aware that books don't just appear (usually), and that far more important than the name of a story is the name of the person who wrote it. Unfortunately, the title of a book usually sticks easier than the author, for some reason...).
And lastly, this site is always under construction, so always wear your hardhat while visiting. And if someone asks you why you are wearing a hardhat while browsing the web, hit them over the head as hard as you can with your keyboard, and when they come to, say "That's why."
